| NEWS: CAF F4F Wildcat crashes near Clear
Lake TX 18.10.03 Grumman F4F Wildcat N681S, Bu55585, was destroyed after performing at the Wings over Houston Airshow. The aircraft crashed during final approach. Unfortunately the pilot was killed in the crash. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the pilot. Official press release CAF |

| NEWS: Aircraft Restoration Company Bristol Blenheim belly lands at Duxford 18.08.03 The only airworthy Bristol Blenheim made a wheels up landing at Duxford on Monday. The two persons on board walked away from the aircraft uninjured. It is reported that the aircraft itself sustained major damage. For a news report follow the link to the BBC News site (BBC News). |

| Airshow Report: 12 July 2003 - Flying Legends,
Duxford, United Kingdom THE show for the warbirds enthousiast. This line-up of this year's edition consisted of 11 Spitfires, 4 Hurricanes, 6 Mustangs, 3 Corsairs and a few other warbirds. A total of 50 attended this show. Tragedy struck when the RNHF Firefly crashed during it's display. Unfortunately both occupants didn't survice the crah. | Preview: Upcoming Flying Legends Airshow 2003
at Duxford In the weekend of 12/13 July this show will be held at Duxford Airfield. At the show, organised by The Fighter Collection, there will be a few 'firsts'. As last year's A-36 Invader, Tom Friedkin will send his newly restored TF-51 to Duxford. Other newcomers include the German Yak-3, and OFMC La-9, which was recently shipped form New Zealand. As the show is in a few weeks time, the participants list can be viewed at the TFC website - Flying Legends 03 participants. |

Zeltweg Austria Mainly a modern military airshow, but a few warbirds also attended. Those that were present were Siegfried Angerer's F4U, Max Vogelsang's P-51 and the Flying Bulls B-25. Unfortunately these warbirds aren't seen a lot in other European countries. |
